		<description>This article has certainly been true in my marketing. Reading this article makes me realise that I have been over concerned about being seen as spamming. As a marketer myself I really do tolerate a high rate of email delivery from othre marketers, and it is the best way to keep in touch with developments (with the possible exceptions of a Twitter Account!).

So, yes. it is rather irrational to shy away from email marketing. It is also true that by observing the way you build your email list with only sending to confired opt-ins, there is no risk that any of us are going to fall foul of the law on this.
